Last year I produced a calendar for the Morgantown area (which is still available for 2023) but this year we had had such a lovely fall that I decided to produce a calendar just of fall color photographs from around Morgantown – mostly from Cheat Lake and Coopers Rock. It’s my plan to take a broader sweep around the area next year – this year the weather was really nice, but I went down with RSV – the virus that small children normally get. Still, I was lucky to get some good images before it hit me!
The calendars are available in two sizes. Letter size, which is the most popular, and also as a jumbo 11×14 inch calendar. They are printed on demand and shipped directly to your home. You can also choose the binding – a wire binding is best for hanging straight, but you could choose a stapled approach which would avoid having those holes in the paper if you wanted to frame one of the images later.
You can see all the images here, scroll sideways or click on an individual image for a larger preview.
So don’t wait too long before ordering – the holiday season will be here before you know it!
You will find the Fall Colors Calendar here. My original Morgantown calendar updated for 2023 is available here. I have a Kauai calendar available here. And, of course, you can find my images of Morgantown available in my portfolio for wall art with free shipping, a 30-day money back guarantee and a 10% discount through November!

7 Nov 2022Wow – what a great wide angle shot! And I say “wide angle” in terms of composition, not necessarily focal length. It’s a photo opportunity that would not have been obvious to me. Nice work.

8 Nov 2022It was actually 24mm, but I know what you mean. I was deliberately going for that “island” look and this choice of lens made it look real. Good job it was wide enough as I didn’t have a wider angle lens with me!

12 Nov 2022I’ve never done a calendar, though I get an image or two included in our astronomy club’s calendar every year. Maybe I’ll try one next year. Yours look lovely.

12 Nov 2022Yes, they are relatively easy to make once you get the hang of the site. The one I use here is pretty quick – the hardest part is choosing the images!

18 Nov 2022I am glad you weren’t down long with that virus, and it didn’t seem to hinder you too much. The colors you’ve captured are just lovely.

18 Nov 2022I did miss about 10 days of really nice weather when I could have captured quite a few new images, but I did pretty well! Thanks!
